Bruno Fernandes tears into ‘lazy’ Man United teammates after Everton draw
“It’s been important for developing how we want to play and getting the new players involved too,” Fernandes told NBC Sports.
“We didn’t want to finish in this way. Our performance wasn’t the best and we were a little bit lazy today. We want to avoid that because with laziness you can pay at any moment.”

The pressure to perform well is high after Ruben Amorim’s side finished 15th in the Premier League and lost out to Tottenham in the Europa League final meaning they face a full season without European competition.
Amorim has been pleased with his team’s performances in pre-season but the real test will come on August 17 when the Red Devils kick off their season at home to Arsenal.
Will Sesko’s arrival turnaround the fortunes of the struggling side and who will benefit or be disadvantaged by his arrival at Old Trafford?

Manchester United announce signing of striker Benjamin Sesko
The Slovenian has signed a five-year deal at Old Trafford and United believe he has world-class potential and is one of the best young talents in the global game.
Sesko cost an initial £66.5m and United have a favourable payment structure, but his arrival means they may need to start selling unwanted players such as Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony.

Ruben Amorim’s message to the fans
Ahead of this afternoon’s match at Old Trafford, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim wrote a message to the supporters.
He said: “Welcome back to Old Trafford for our final pre-season game of the summer before the Premier League resumes next weekend.
“This is such an important time of year, not just to build up towards match fitness, but especially to take advantage of time together, on and off the training pitch, to develop as a group.
“I can feel the improvements in the environment now that the right details are in place to help us all to be better. The players we worked with last season are looking stronger, and we have made some important additions to the squad.”
