Andrew Neil’s four-word warning to Keir Starmer | Politics | News

Nigel Farage’s insurgent party Reform UK is 10 points in the lead with 27%, up one.

The Liberal Democrats are unchanged on 15% in the poll of 2,389 people carried out earlier this week.

In a post on X, the veteran broadcaster wrote: “Have a look at this. Latest YouGov poll.

“Reform still comfortably ahead. But after a year of dismal polling for Labour this is the first time itโ€™s been as low as the Tories. Also first time ever four parties have been statistically nip and tuck.”

Mr Neil added: “Hard to avoid the conclusion that Keir Starmer is living on borrowed time.”

It comes as Sir Keir has faced open questions over his leadership in recent months as support for Labour has plummeted since its landslide election win in July last year.

The Prime Minister could face a challenge if the local elections go badly for his party next May.
