Brits will never forgive Labour unless MPs do one thing โ party’s future is on the line | Politics | News
The best thing Labour MPs could do for us all in 2026 is remove Starmer as their leader before he completely destroys the country. In little more than 18 months he has taken the UK from First World to Third World โ and to a country most Brits no longer recognise.
Mr Slippery has overseen the slip-slide of the UK in record time. He has taken us from the country with the highest levels of investment in the G7 to the lowest; from one moving up the educational league tables to one going into reverse; through two disastrous tax hiking, borrowing binge, benefit bonanza budgets; he has managed to crush the spirit of working Brits and got the country’s wealth creators moving out in despair. The latest, UKโs ninth richest man, John Frederiksen, left saying โBritain had gone to hellโ.
Itโs not just rising taxes that has got Brits leaving โ bad though that is. Many say they donโt feel valued as British citizens and the government has lost control of the streets. The crime index โ which measures the citizenโs perception of crime โ clearly backs that up. Incredibly there are three UK cities โ Bradford, Coventry and Birmingham โ in the top four most dangerous cities in Europe.
But it is Starmerโs failure to tackle illegal immigration โ up 13% in 2025 โ and his never-ending capacity to put the human rights of people breaking into the country unlawfully above those of British citizens which has upset the public more than anything โ even more than his lies and broken election promises.
His much vaunted โsmash the gangsโ and โone in one outโ policies have proved to be turkeys and his latest reported proposal, to build council houses specifically for illegal immigrants, will have decent law-abiding Brits, subjected to years on housing waiting lists, taking to the streets.
Labour MPs know Starmerโs finished, his current poll ratings are a catastrophic -66, the worst of any Prime Minister since record began.
For months now backbenchers, along with some in the Cabinet and the Manchester windbag Andy Burnham, have plotted to get rid of Starmer. But the threshold of 80 MPs having to put their heads over the parapet to start the removal process has proved too much for this weak bunch. Remember none even had the guts to vote against Starmer when he broke his election promises and took winter fuel payments from 10 million pensioners.
But if Labour MPs want any chance of survival at the next General Election, they need to find a backbone and start standing up for their voters. Their new year resolution has to be to get some courage and remove Starmer. If they donโt and they inflict another three years of Starmer on the country, they will never be forgiven by their constituents, and they wonโt just be getting booted out of pubs, theyโll all be getting booted out of parliament too.
