Farage urges Britain to back Reform and oust ‘gutless’ Keir Starmer | Politics | News

It could be a punishing election for Sir Keir, whose party faces a battering in London and Wales, where they historically have done very well. Mr Farage, 62, has long said that the elections are an opportunity for people annoyed by the Labour Government to show their frustration at the ballot box.

He said: “The Tories tried to remove the gutless Keir Starmer and failed. The only way to finally remove the most unpopular and unpatriotic prime minister in our lifetime is to back Reform.”

When the party launched its local election slogan, Mr Farage said a hammering at the ballot box would likely trigger the embattled PM’s resignation.

Sir Keir Starmer, taking to social media, said that other parties were not delivering for local communities. He wrote: “Back a better future for your local community.”

But Mr Farage urged supporters of his insurgent political movement to “continue the journey of getting our great country back on track.”

He added: “Reform made history and won the local elections last year. If you really want change, go out and vote for it again today.” In last year’s local council elections, Reform won 677 seats and increased its vote share by 28%.
