Even if his efficiency left a bit to be desired again in Game 5, De’Aaron Fox displayed the type of aggressive performance the Spurs need from him.

His 3-point shot wasn’t falling so the star guard put his head down and got to the rack, putting consistent pressure on the Wolves’ defense. Even when these drives didn’t end in buckets for Fox, they put Minnesota in rotation and ended up creating open looks for others.

Fox finished with 18 points, five assists and four boards on Tuesday, shooting 6-of-15 from the field.

San Antonio will need him to be assertive again tonight in hostile territory.
