Half a million Tesco Clubcard members are sitting on more than ยฃ100 in unused vouchers, with many set to expire at the end of the month.

Shoppers are being told to either use or lose the rewards, with ยฃ11 million worth of vouchers due to run out at 11.59pm on August 31, according to Martin Lewisโ€™ Money Saving Expert.

Clubcard vouchers are issued every three months in February, May, August and November and are only valid for two years, meaning those issued in 2024 will be void this year.

The expiry date can be found on the voucher itself or on the Tesco Clubcard site or app.

At the end of last month, Tesco revealed that more than 95,000 members also had ยฃ200 or more in unused vouchers

Shoppers can either spend Clubcard points on their weekly shop or convert them into a voucher

The supermarket giant said Clubcard members can triple the value by spending rewards with one of their 100 reward partners, including Hotels.com, Disney+ and restaurant chains like PizzaExpress and Bella Italia.

It said ยฃ100 in vouchers could get you ยฃ300 to spend on food at select chains, 10 weeks of four cinema tickets, eleven three-month streaming subscriptions, five one-year Railcards or ยฃ200 of credit off an easyJet holidays getaway.

The reminder was issued to coincide with its โ€˜Know What You are Sitting Onโ€™ campaign, encouraging shoppers to check on the rewards available to them.

How to check your Clubcard vouchers

To check your available coupons, vouchers, points and rewards, visit the Tesco app and select โ€˜Clubcardโ€™, then โ€˜Vouchersโ€™. Additional Clubcard points can also be converted into extra vouchers.

To check online, go to the Tesco Clubcard website, select ‘My Clubcard account’ and then ‘Vouchers’.

Tesco Group Membership & Loyalty Director Shama Wilson encouraged shoppers to โ€œcheck how many vouchers you are sitting onโ€.

โ€You could be missing out on big savings on holidays, meals out or days out, or even the chance to get Disney+, cinema tickets or magazine subscriptions without spending a penny,โ€ she said.
