It is the first photo known to show the three men together; however, no time or location has been given for it. ITV News, which first published the photo, claimed the picture looks similar to another included in the Epstein “birthday book”, released last year, which appeared to show Mandelson, again in a bathrobe, and Epstein.

Now, another outlet has made a bombshell new claim about the snap.

The Mirror reports that the picture’s “other hidden secret isn’t who is in it, but who took it”.

The outlet’s Deputy Political Editor, Mikey Smith, claims that upon close inspection of the photograph, the top left of it, where Andrew is pictured, revealed a “translucent image of a person’s shoulders, wearing brightly coloured clothing”.

He claims that below Epstein’s face, a person’s fingers can be seen, “presumably holding the camera” that the picture was captured with.

He says: “The reflection of the photographer suggests the picture was either taken through a window looking onto the deck – or it’s a picture of a picture, with the figure reflected in the glass of the frame.”

It is noted how the disgraced paedophile would often frame and display photos of himself with high-profile figures.

Mr Smith then adds: “It’s impossible to say for sure, but what is visible of the person’s face resembles Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s on-off girlfriend and co-conspirator, who was also friendly with both Andrew and Mandelson.”
