CNN halted for breaking Trump and Epstein news – and it’s terrible for US president | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

CNN was interrupted for some breaking news, which meant another devastating blow for Donald Trump. New polling from CNN’s Senior Data Analyst, Harry Enten, reveals that Donald Trump is 39 points underwater when it comes to his handling of the Epstein Files. In the wake of newly released emails from the Epstein investigation, Harry Enten delved into the numbers on how US citizens feel about the President’s ties to the disgraced financier. Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in a New York federal jail in 2019. During a CNN segment, Harry said on Thursday that the Epstein case is the President’s “worst issue by far.”

He also referred to numbers from a Marist poll from September. The poll revealed that only 20% of adults approved of Trump’s handling of the Epstein files.

It also comes after Donald Trump was issued an apology by the BBC. Trump threatened to sue the BBC for $1billion earlier this week after the broadcaster was accused of “misleading” viewers by splicing together parts of a speech made by the US President.

Yesterday, it was reported that the BBC doctored Trump’s speech a second time, just days after the US President threatened legal action.

According to The Telegraph, the footage was broadcast on an episode of Newsnight in 2022, and suggested that Trump was encouraging his supporters to riot.

In a Newsnight segment, which was broadcasted on June 9, 2022, Trump appeared to say: “We’re gonna walk down to the Capitol and we’re gonna cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we fight. We fight like hell and if you don’t fight like hell you aren’t gonna have a country anymore.”

What Trump actually said was: “Now, it is up to Congress to confront this egregious assault on our democracy. And after this, we’re going to walk down, and I’ll be there with you, we’re going to walk down, we’re going to walk down.

“Anyone you want, but I think right here, we’re going to walk down to the Capitol, and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women, and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them.”

One hour later, Trump added: “Most people would stand there at 9 o’clock in the evening and say I wanna thank you very much, and they go off to some other life, but I said something’s wrong here, something’s really wrong, can’t have happened, and we fight. We fight like hell, and if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not gonna have a country any more.”
