GB News halted for urgent ‘breaking news’ as Labour humiliated on air | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

GB News was interrupted for a breaking news update as more violence occurred in Dublin. Broadcaster Adam Brooks slammed the Labour Government for not doing more to stop migrants, who he claimed “canโt be trusted around women or girls”. He also argued that Britain needs to stop the “pull factors” with stronger deterrents. It comes after demonstrators have clashed with police again close to a hotel housing asylum seekers in Dublin following an alleged sexual assault. Two police officers have been taken to the hospital with injuries. Adam also argued: “This is a national emergency. How can our Government – who we pay our taxes to – allow our women and children to be subjected to that?”
One person replied on X: “Not doing more to stop migrants? They’re not doing anything. In fact they’re literally doing it deliberately, wilfully, with aforethought, on purpose. Moreover they will never, ever stop.”
A second also said: “Looks like labour have come up with a new variant of the one in one out scam. Just keep sending one back and the french send him back on a continuous loop.”
A third also chimed in: “Adam’s right it’s an emergency the streets aren’t safe for women and children.” Another also echoed: ” This has to be the weakest government on the entire planet.”
Meanwhile, one person also argued: “Thatโs a heavy statement, discussions like this need balance and facts, not fear or division.”
A 26-year-old man – who cannot be named due to the rules that apply to all sexual assault cases in the Republic of Ireland – appeared in court on Tuesday this week charged over the alleged attack.
A number of demonstrators have reportedly been detained after fireworks and rocks were thrown at the police.
Justice minister Jim O’Callaghan stated that “many have been arrested” and “more will follow”. He also vowed that those arrested would be “charged, named and dealt with relentlessly.”
