Rachel Reeves simply grinned as her boss came under fire from the Tory leader.
Both the PM and Chancellor have clearly been working on their body language following last week’s horror show in which Ms Reeves sobbed her way through proceedings and Sir Keir appeared not to give a damn.
This week they overdid the saccharine camaraderie with the PM repeatedly turning to and referencing the Chancellor.
She acknowledged Sir Keir with a pre-programmed rictus grin.
PMQs began with some solemn words about the 7/7 victims and the death of Tory legend and Thatcher loyalist Norman Tebbit.
Following the leaders’ clashes, Nigel Farage was met with a chorus of barracking as he tried to ask the PM a question about French President Emmanuel Macron.
At one point Mr Farage, struggling to get himself heard, glared at Iqbal Mohamed behind him after the Dewsbury MP interrupted the Reform UK leader mid flow.
