NBA Play-In Tournament score, live updates: Trail Blazers, Suns looking for an edge in second half

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra addressed LaMelo Ball’s collision with Bam Adebayo in the second quarter of the Heat’s play-in game. Adebayo missed the rest of the game with a lower back injury, and Miami lost in overtime

💬 “I didn’t see it, but I don’t think it’s cute. I don’t think it’s funny. I think it’s a stupid play. It’s a dangerous play. Obviously, our best player was out.”

💬 “It’s a shame. He should be penalized for that. I don’t think it belongs in the game, tripping guys. Curtis [Blair] was there, it’s his responsibility to see it. If it’s not his responsibility, Zach’s got to see that. Somebody’s got to see that. He should have been thrown out of the game for that. I don’t know from anyone, there’s no place in the game for that. Obviously, [it] took Bam out of the game.”
