NFL Week 13 live score updates: Bills-Steelers, Rams fall Prey to Panthers, standings, playoff picture, latest
Jacksonville did what they needed to and beat a bad team, their fourth win in five games. The offense went through the air for much of the game, but Trevor Lawrence didnโt give the ball away. He went short and long to nine different targets, completing 16 of 26 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns. Jakobi Meyers went for 90 yards and a score.
Led by Josh Hines-Allen, who had 2 sacks today and 5.5 over the past four games, Jacksonvilleโs defense restricted the Titans to three points and 188 total yards.
It wasnโt all pretty. There were two full-scale brawls, but Liam Coen wonโt care about those. He may well do about Jacksonville only rushing for 70 yards, and committing a heavy penalty count (13 for 98 yards). Plus there were injuries to receiver Parker Washington and left tackle Walker Little.
Next week sees the Colts – also 8-4 – visiting Jacksonville with the lead of the AFC South at stake.
