Nigel Farage must make this one message a reality โ and defeat army of lefty lawyers | Politics | News
Under a Reform government, actions must have consequences. In the week yet another ‘asylum seeker’ was found guilty of a horrific crime against a child, how much longer can we tolerate this insanity? Here in Asia, screw around and you face the full force of the law: you’re nicked and do some bird! And prisons here aren’t holiday camps like they are in Britain. Folks know not to mess around.
Screw around as an immigrant meanwhile and you’re finished: you’ll be sent packing so fast your feet won’t touch the ground. “Ooh, what about my human rights mate?” Well, should have thought about that before you did the crime would be the response of the authorities here. Rightly so.
In Asia, and Central and Eastern Europe, actions bring severe consequences. On this point, we cannot totally blame the European Convention on Human Rights.
Hungary and Poland are ECHR signatories yet neither have the immigration problems Western Europe has. Why? No army of lefty lawyers. That’s the difference.
Ditto the UN Refugee Convention which many countries in Asia signed up to. For example, Japanโs strict interpretation of the convention means it doesnโt readily grant people fleeing war refugee status.
Reform must ensure actions have consequences. An Afghan illegal immigrant who commits a crime is out! Like they would be in Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan (mind you, those countries wouldn’t be moronic enough to let illegal immigrants inside their great countries to begin with!).
Scumbags who rob and steal with impunity are in the nick! And porridge means porridge! Not a glorified Butlins where they get mobile phone access and can rap about their crimes. We need people to feel so scared of prison they never put a foot wrong. Ever.
That’s the Singapore way. On the side of the law-abiding majority not the flotsam who think they’re above the law. In Farage’s Britain, actions must have consequences. No more soft touch and tummy tickling.
