Nigeria vs Tanzania live updates: AFCON 2025 match team news, predictions and more

At 24, Job is the defensive cornerstone of the Tanzanian champions, Young Africans, and his national team. Playing at centre-back, he has won four successive domestic league titles with his club, alongside four Tanzania FA Cups.

In recent years, he has become a mainstay in Tanzaniaโ€™s starting line-up, captaining the national team in the 2024 African Nations Championship.

Despite his youth, Job is Young Africansโ€™ vice-captain and knows how to command their defensive line during the matches. In addition, the centre-back has a strong reading of the game.

Job is an aggressive tackler, though, which can expose him a bit if he is dragged out of position. However, it empowers his dueling ability on the ground, which is aided by his low centre of gravity โ€” he is just 5ft 5ins (168cm).

On the ball, Jobโ€™s carrying ability stands out. One of the most promising centre-backs in Africa, Job released a book in January about his life story to inspire and motivate young people across the continent.
