PMQs LIVE: Keir Starmer faces brutal grilling as migrant tensions explode | Politics | News

The Green Party only has the support of around 10% of voters but it could still cause huge problems for Keir Starmer because it is attracting people who might previously have supported Labour.
And the danger to Labour becomes more severe if Greens join forces with a new left-wing party led by Jeremy Corbyn.
The Greens could look to โalignโ with the party being set up by former Labour MPs Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana, new leader Zack Polanski has said.
In an interview with the BBC on Wednesday, Mr Polanski suggested he would be open to co-operating with the as-yet unnamed party, saying they have โa similar messageโ while acknowledging the new partyโs programme is uncertain โbecause they donโt exist yetโ.
He added: โBut what I would say more widely is this is a moment to demonstrate a different and new kind of politics โ in the old days, youโd expect me to come on and be criticising other politicians just because theyโre from other parties.
โYou wonโt get any of that with me.โ
