POLL: Who should replace Keir Starmer as Labour leader? | Politics | News

Following the Prime Ministerโs heavily criticised UK-EU Brexit reset deal and his partyโs disastrous results at the recent local elections, many may be wondering if Sir Keir Starmer should be replaced as the Labour Party leader. Recent polling shows support for Labour plummeting rapidly, with Reform UK topping the results. Nigel Farageโs party has a seven-point lead on 29%, according to the YouGov poll for Sky News and The Times, yet support for the Labour Party has dropped to 22%.
Sir Keir acknowledged the threat of Reform when he addressed MPs this week, claiming: “The Conservatives are not our principal opponent. Reform are our main rivals for power. We have a moral responsibility to make sure Farage never wins.” However, itโs not only Labourโs ratings that have dropped, but the Prime Ministerโs personal rating has left him low down on the favourability list to lead the party.
