France takes second, but the real drama here today was in Italy’s veteran, Federico Pellegrino, winning a tight battle with Finland for third, an emotional moment for this Italian crowd.

And a moment for Canada, whose men finish in a surprise fifth. Yesterday, the women’s team, all first time Olympians, finished in 8th. Canada’s women have only ever done one better, a 7th place finish in 1976.
