James Bay came on stage in a wheelchair to support Bon Jovi at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday.

The Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter, born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, had broken his ankle the day before.

The 36-year-old had to perform while sitting down, with his left leg and ankle in a cast.

In a caption on Instagram, the venue said the star had broken “his ankle on Tuesday… but still supported Bon Jovi on Wednesday”.
